Finance Ministry

Mission Statement:

Vision Statement: The objective of the finance ministry of PTM is to provide the “knows” of church finances

1. Know facility costs, including actual receipts
2. Know the church budget and personnel expenditure
3. Know weekly per capita giving

By understanding the “knows” we can take a realistic approach toward projecting revenues by analyzing historical giving, attendance patterns, and average member donations. Our finance ministry will provide basic credit repair options, financial counseling, and money management guides to help aid our members. We believe that individuals, families, and churches should live in financial freedom as a direct result of heart transformation. In God’s economy, success is measured by what is in your heart.

GEMs (Women's Ministry)

Mission Statement:

Vision Statement: To cultivate, educate, enlighten, and empower women to be all that God intends while allowing the Holy Spirit to transform them into strong, gentle spiritual giants.

GEMS is created for the shimmer in you! I often find Christian women who are ashamed of their flaws, afraid to be vulnerable, use manipulation to control others, insecure, bury the pain, and find difficulty in embracing who they are. I also find women who are powerful beyond measure, confident, courageous, brilliant, talented, strong, vibrant, and leaders who oftentimes shrink so that other women will not feel insecure around them. What do most of these women have in common, they seek more of having an experience with Christ. They love Him and desire to be transformed from the inside out. They are sometimes afraid of the refining process that the Holy Spirit wants to do on the inside. Yes, we are strong, but we need each other. If we can take hold of how God sees us, we will be able to receive love, acceptance, and our heart’s desire. This love can be given through his people, just like us today. Jesus wants to fashion us for the glory of God. GEMS is informative, cultivating, insightful, and transparent. It relies on the Holy Spirit to transform us into strong, gentle, spiritual giants. We are sisters in Christ, our job is to look out for each other, help along the way, share the beauty, and let our light shine!

Praise & Worship Ministry

Mission Statement:

Vision Statement: The Praise Team of Perfecting Truth Ministries aspires to give God glory, honor, and praise that He so deserves. Our commitment is to minister with excellence and diversity, while being led by the Holy Spirit. We seek to reach across generations and cultures so that the great works of God will not be forgotten. With the aid of God, we desire to create an atmosphere that prepares the hearts and minds of God’s people to receive the Word of God.

David appointed dancers, singers and musicians for praise and worship They were appointed because the work of the covenant was that important and should never be forgotten. It is important that we teach the generations about God through song.

Usher's Ministry

Mission Statement:

Vision Statement: The definition of an usher is door keeper, but in truth, our churches greatly depend on the diversity and the magnitude of the many services ushers provide.

The Usher Ministry welcomes each member and visitor to Perfecting Truth Ministries (PTM) with a warm welcome and a friendly smile. With all passion, our goal is to make sure that everyone who crosses the threshold of our ministry for worship is comfortable and accepted. We provide guidance and are a great help to you throughout the flow of our service. While you are visiting, our team will assure you that all your needs are accommodated.

Ushers Attributes

  1. Teachable: Ushers have the right spirit and heart that is easy to serve people and the church well. Every usher is willing to be taught ways to improve. Ushers who are ever learning can greatly enhance the service.
  2. Thoughtfulness: Ushers look for ways to serve and help others. Opening doors, assisting visitors and being courteous can shine a positive light on our church.
  3. Tactfulness: Ushers have a keen sense of what to say or do to avoid giving offense. Skill in dealing with difficult or delicate situations, also a keen sense of what is appropriate and/or tasteful.
  4. Timeliness: Ushers are punctual and attentive when assistance is needed. An effective usher does not wait to be asked or wait for someone else to assist when someone is in need. Ushers are constantly aware of what is going on during church service to ensure continuity without distraction.
  5. Teamwork: Users work together as one cohesive team. Ushers should uniformly receive offering, communion, and bring order to service as needed.
